Agnieszka Chudecka

Agnieszka Chudecka is a member of Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care (PICAC) SA team, instrumental in forming the national PICAC Alliance, nominated the PICAC Alliance Secretariat Lead.

Agnieszka firmly believes in a person-centred approach, recognising everyone as a cultural being and responding to their values to achieve quality care.
Her extensive experience combines working with CALD-backgrounds individuals, carers, support networks; as well as with CALD-specific and generalist service providers. A passionate educator, Agnieszka continues systemic advocacy for CALD perspectives inclusion in co-design initiatives/discussions, policy-making and system solutions planning and implementation.

In Australia, Agnieszka studied Applied Gerontology (Flinders University), completed Master of Dementia (UTAS). Now, back at Flinders University, Caring Futures Institute, she works towards her long-anticipated PhD thesis on ‘Stakeholders’ Perceptions of the Care Needs of People from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds Living with Dementia and Language Reversion’.
