Teddy also serves as a faculty at the Manipal-FAIMER International Institute for Leadership in Inter-Professional Education. Besides, he serves as a Coordinator for student affairs and career counselling cell at PSPH. His research interests lie in ageing, mental health, adolescent wellbeing, social work education and palliative care.

As part of his academic responsibilities, Teddy teaches in different courses including mental health, counselling, and research methods for students in social work master’s program. He supervises students on their research and field internships.

He is also a recognised guide for doctoral candidates and serves on doctoral advisory committee within MAHE and other Universities.

Teddy’s qualifications include Social Work Masters, PG Diploma in Gerontology, and PhD in Social Gerontology.
