HG Nelson (not Greig Pickhaver AM, the man behind the character) is Australia’s legendary sports and life commentator, and advocate for age liberation. With his colleague, Rampaging Roy Slaven, he has presented programs on radio and television for three decades; The Dream, Club Buggery, This Sporting Life, and The Life are a few of their successes.

Renowned for his fitness levels, a champion of rugby, punting, VB supercar racing, boxing weigh-ins when a belt is on the line, and in his inimitable style, the iconic HG Nelson is not afraid to have a crack at any topic.

He is the consummate Baby Boomer. He wants his dreams to come true as he ages and for everyone to know about them.

His less-is-more approach and unique prism on life imitating sport are legendary. He knows that too much sport is barely enough and his thoughts about not hanging up the boots and living well into the future, will be ideas worth spreading.
